Dine amongst the wines on August 8 at 6:00 pm when we team up with one of our favorite Gorge wineries to serve dinner in the exquisite Wy’East vineyard, tucked in the lovely east hills of the Hood River Valley. This storied vineyard is home to the Gorge’s oldest pinot noir vines, the birthplace of Wy’East Vineyards lovely pinots. This is why we live here, and you can join us and our hosts Dick and Christie Reed, for the evening.
Dinner will be prepared by our proprietor and chef of our catering operation, Kathy Watson. Our five-course dinner will be paired with Wy’East’s wines, all for $40 per person.
Here’s our menu:
Amuse: Mushroom duxelles in pastry
First course: Chilled cucumber soup with mint cilantro crème fraiche and walnut crostini.
Second course: Grilled ratatouille ribbon and local heirloom tomato salad with shaved goat ricotta salata, reduced balsamic and olive oil
Third course: Moraccan-spiced pork crepinette, grilled figs, pomegranite and honey
Fourth course: Grilled lamb chops, basil gremolata, tomatoes, and fresh shell beans
Dessert: chocolate raspberry napoleons
